It was a beautiful sunny morning when we boarded the aerial tramway to the top of Cannon Mountain in Franconia Notch, but the weather turned quickly and within just 2 hours the descending clouds almost completely obliterated the view!
Note: My BLOG is now at www.sharonallen.us Although I do sometimes work in studio from my own photos taken on location, my true passion lies in painting en plein air - outdoors on location - where landscapes are alive with colors and nuances that even the best photograph cannot recreate, and where the challenge of trying to capture fleeting moments of light and shadow makes each painting an exciting adventure.
